The Primary section of Cedarville School runs a standard British and Nigerian (blended) Curricula. The curriculum is child-centered, teacher friendly and it is used mostly by the best primary schools in Ibadan and in our nation, Nigeria. This curriculum enables every child to engage in activities such as planning, researching, interacting, programming and entrepreneurial skills with teachers and other students. The curriculum provides a plus for learners in both national and international examinations.
Subjects offered at our Primary School are; English, Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning, BST (Basic Science, Basic Technology, Information & Communications Technology and Physical and Health Education), Religious and National Values (Cultural & Creative Arts, Christian Religious Knowledge and Civic Education), Prevocational Studies (Agricultural science and Home Economics), French, Yoruba, Use of Library, Music, Phonics and Social Studies.
Cedarville School at the primary level aims to provide a conducive and enabling learning environment that caters for every individual child. We provide a broad based, balanced and enriched curriculum that enables every child realize their full potential and strive to instill a high level of self-esteem and confidence. The children are taught to develop a sense of leadership and civic duty.
